Hot and Cold

Standard

Well, autumn is here again and this begins the seasonal joys of pain. Why? Well for example, this week in Ohio it is going from 90-100 degree temperatures all week to Fridays high temperature being only 65. Now, this is a welcome break from the heat but when the temperatures fluctuate so wildly like that, those of us with autoimmune issues seem to feel pain and headaches from it. Also, asthma flares for me too.

So, how does the weather affect you?

I live in GA and we are going to start seeing lower temp this weekend. Good news, lower power bills, but here comes the pain. The thing I have already noticed is an aching in my left arm between my elbow and wrist. My migraines have returned over the past 2 weeks. I need to get some everything done in my house before I won’t feel like doing anything. I am not looking forward to it.

    • I totally get that! My hips are aching and I am not healed yet from surgery. Migraines here too plus asthma trying to rear it’s ugly head!! I used to live in Georgia and loved it!! I sure miss it!
