M&M Cookies in a Jar

These make a great gift!

M&M Cookies in a Jar

Into a quart mason jar, add the following ingredients and pack between each layer.

1 cup M&M candies
2 cups flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t baking powder
1 1/4 cup sugar

When ready to bake this is what you do:

1 jar M&M cookie mix
3/4 cup butter, softened
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 t vanilla

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, cream the butter, eggs and vanilla. Add the cookie mix and stir until the mixture is well blended. Drop by rounded tablespoons full onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
